With a strong background in the Prop/HFT industry, Oded brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. His passion lies in building, automating, and scaling up trading systems, and he is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of technology in the financial trading sector.

Originally from Jerusalem, Israel, Oded made the decision to relocate to the Netherlands after completing his studies in Computer Science and Mathematics at Hebrew University. His interest in professional trading was sparked when he identified mispricing in Forex OTC options as part of a hobby project. Unfortunately for him, his broker did not let him exploit the arbitrage. Nevertheless this discovery fueled his determination to pursue a career in the field of modern financial trading.

Oded has worked for top trading houses throughout his career, developing low-latency trading strategies across various asset classes, which are listed on the main global cash and derivatives markets. His expertise and insights have been invaluable in navigating the complexities of the financial landscape and capitalizing on opportunities in real-time trading.

Joining Energetech has presented an exciting opportunity for Oded. He thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys collaborating with like-minded colleagues who share his passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. Beyond his professional endeavors, Oded cherishes his family time, takes leisurely walks with his black Labrador Ziva, plays the saxophone in a big band with his son, and participates in online blitz chess competitions.
